Visitors to these forums range along the entire spectrum from fundamentalist Christian to anti-religious atheist and everything between. For the most part I can only guess. However, there are clues.
When a new member posts spam (which I usually delete on sight) I assume the topic of the spam is within the approximate area of interest or range of beliefs of the member. If the number of visitors increases sharply right after I sign up to a new forum, or right after I post a link somewhere to an article on these forums, I suspect the visitors are from one of those forums. I have a general idea of the membership of the forums on which I post.
And then there are the friends who tell me via pm or email that they visit but don't log on. Generally, for the welfare of the relationship, I don't tell my Christian friends about these forums. However, there has been at least one conservative Christian posting on here, and some spam indicated various kinds of conservative--if not fanatic--Christian beliefs.
