As the forums grow, so must the system for organizing topics. I assume that the more interesting topics attracted more visits than the not-so-interesting topics. For this reason I will rank-order the threads according to number of visits or hits as listed on the index of the homepage of each forum.
I will go through the various sections of the entire forums and list the topics that get the most visits. I have already done this for individual forums, such as
General Discussion and
Resources. For any forum that has more than one page of topics I made a list of links that I stuck at the top so that people could find the interesting threads more easily. I listed any thread with 100 or more visits. However, some topics attracted several hundred visits while others barely topped one hundred.
In this thread, there will be several posts--each with their own title. This post is the introduction. The next post will contain the
Three Most Popular Topics across the entire forums. After that there will be topics of very significant interest but somewhat lower levels of visits than the three most popular ones. For the convenience of readers, I will also copy the Index posts from the individual forums. Thus, the posts will be rank-ordered, too. In this way, this thread will serve as a guide for new-comers to the most interesting material on the forums, even though it is hidden away in some cubby-hole or cranny.

EDITED to change names of forums to reflect changes made on homepage. The Lab and
Lab Tools have been changed to more conventional names as follows:
- The Lab is now General Discussion
- Lab Tools is now Resources
The rest of the posts in this thread (but
not in the entire forums) will also be edited to reflect these changes.
