Internet Infidels, Inc. has a major website and discussion forums online. The forums section is called Internet Infidels Discussion Board (
IIDB), and goes with the website known as the
Secular Web. There is also a library, a bookstore, and much more.
The
library index of the Secular Web gives some indication that this is a large and varied website geared for the education of nonreligious people. The forums or IIDB allow for the discussion of any part of the website, including columns, news, and other articles. In addition, they allow discussion of any other topic members wish to discuss, regardless of whether or not it is posted on the website.
The sheer number of topics and sections on the forums can be overwhelming, not to mention confusing. However, if one chooses a forum where one feels comfortable, active discussion can be an enjoyable and educational experience. At the moment, I know of no other website that is so extensive and offers so much in the line of education and discussion. What's more, all major parts of the website are linked from all other parts. Thus, if you do get lost you can always find Home.
I have not checked out the credentials of the owners and moderators but my guess is they represent high levels of education.
