Heh. Most if not all of Christianity has been adopted from other religions. As for the present Jesus-is-the-reason-for-the-season holiday, a greeting I saw on another website sums up the truth of the matter; happy ancient pagan holiday that got pasted over with the baby Jesus who got pasted over with industrial consumerism!

You and I know that, Ex-COG, but we have to keep repeating the message for those who don't know it, give them resources to check out and do their own research, etc. I consider Acharya S to be a good place to start.
